Willersey Village Amateur Horticultural and Craft Show 2017

The Eric Beadle Cup for the best total exhibits at the Show was won by Peter Bond
The runner up was Jane Ewers and third was Julia Burrows.



Jane and Peter Ewers won the Scarecrow competition prize.

Micheal Hardman won the Men Only Sticky Ginger Cake competition.

The Show ran a Scarecrow Competition again this year with the title being:- HEROES or VILLAINS.
All the details for exhibiting at the Show, were in the Schedule (with a purple cover) from Willersey Stores.
This will gave any rules, guidance notes, Chairman's letter, Show Classes and an entry form.
(Please note only Willersey residents were eligible to win the Show cups).
Cups were presented in the Village Hall at 3pm on Show Day.
Admission to the Show in the Village Hall was £1 from 2:00pm on the day. The entry fee per item in a Show class was 20p.

All money raised from the Horticultural Show on 28^th August will be donated to Campden Home Nursing for the “brilliant work” they do in the area.

Horticultural and Craft Show Raffle
The Village Hall Management Committee ran a Raffle in aid of hall funds at the Horticultural Show on Bank Holiday Monday 28^th August.

Willersey Footlights
We once again had a stall at the Horticultural Show on August Bank Holiday Monday. inluding tombola

Chocolate Tombola
was run by Friends of Willersey School.

Children's Books
Friends of Willersey School also ran a second-hand book stall.

Our Craft and Horticultural Show in 2016 was a great success and despite the wet (English) weather so was our 2015 Show.
